Krempelwood

About this project

Krempelwood were approaching a turning point in their business, getting ready to break into new international markets, but they felt their online presence and brand identity were letting them down. Having built a basic DIY website in a few hours, the website was incredibly basic and didn’t present the company in a positive light. Furthermore, they had nothing but a plain logo and one photo when it came to branding, lacking cohesive colours and typography. Their pitch presentation deck had no imagery and used default Microsoft colour themes and typefaces that were not in alignment with the website.

The project was therefore to not only create a website, but also to create an expanded set of branding materials including a new slide deck, all of which portrayed the brand in a much more polished and professional manner. I worked with them on their brand values, developed a colour palette and sourced a typeface that was sympathetic to their brand values, but also would not compete with the typography from the television programmes that were to be featured on the website’s project gallery.

Once the website had been completed, I created a Powerpoint template that incorporated elements of the website design and also included photographic mockups of their programming content in various environments that could be easily swapped by the client to feature new programmes over time.

NOTE: After project completion, all clients receive training to empower them to update their own websites, so bear in mind that anything you see on the live website may not reflect my design work.
