RKB Consulting

About this project

Having built a reputation through word-of-mouth, one of the UK’s leading consultants on inclusivity and diversity needed a web presence. Having initially thought that the website should be quite small and basic, it quickly emerged during our initial content and user experience planning sessions that the target audiences needed more than just a basic online calling card. RKB relied on my decades-long experience in understanding users and audience needs to help map out an expanded website blueprint that would ensure visitors received everything they needed in order to decide to engage with their consultancy.

We reworked our plan to try to keep within the previously agreed budget, without compromising on the newly expanded content needs. Therefore, we agreed to deliver the project using a hybrid collaborative approach, whereby I designed reusable sections, graphics and layouts that internal staff could then use after 1:1 training to build additional pages. This meant the team could take advantage of my expertise, while simultaneously upskilling internal team members to be able to create, grow and manage pages on the website both now and in the future.

NOTE: After project completion, all clients receive training to empower them to update their own websites, so bear in mind that anything you see on the live website may not reflect my design work.
